February 2012

"Minute to Win It"  - On February 11th the parish gathered 80 people to play a real version of the popular TV Game Show.  It was a fun-filled evening with games for people of all ages.  A member of the I.C. Impact Youth Group served as the MC for the event, and a talented team of nearly 20 volunteers helped to make it a very memorable evening.  View video below.

“Baptism Follow-up” - a group of parish women provide spiritual guidance and support to families with children who have been baptized in the last three years.  The team met for the third time in March.  They expect to begin the program by May.  The plan is for each member of the group to visit six families and serve as mentors to them.  It is hoped that eventually some of the mothers will themselves become mentors as well.

In June, Niagara University Head Basketball Coach Joe Mihalich, will be the guest speaker at a Father/Son Communion Breakfast in the parish’s Father Nuwer Fellowship Hall after the 9 am. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 10.  More details to follow.
